About Me
My Story
The ability to convey emotion and story by the click of a button is the sole reason I am in love with the art of photography. Although this is my photography portfolio - I am far from a true photographer.
I became interested in photography when I was 12 years old undergoing a dark point in my life. As I grew older, photography became more than a leisure activity, but an outlet in which I can express my emotions and learn the concept of perspective and the role it plays in life. The idea that by changing the angle, the elevation, the lighting, I can feature an entirely different sensation through a photo has taught me one of the biggest lessons I know today. Likewise to taking a photo, the alteration of factors is the key to living a positive and optimistic life, you are ultimately in control of everything that happens in your life. You have the ability to focus on certain aspects and eliminate the rest.
Through the many stages of life, photography has brought me contentment, peace, and foresight. By focusing on the emotion I wish to evoke, I have taken photographs that truly represent the many complicities of my character. I hope as you view my work, you can make sense of my story - or find pieces of your own.
